Cycling through the Cotswold stone villages is always a joy. Thanks to Dom and Kate for organising the route along quiet roads and a pretty flat course. For the first time, we rode at more than 25kph average speed with an average of around 27kph. Some strong riders showed up and led the peloton while some of us were happy to be dragged along in the slip stream. But for all, there was the usual chat, reconnecting, meeting new faces and swapping stories about our thriving Oxford cluster.
It was a bumper turnout too with 18 riders. We just managed to stay in one group. Great to welcome more female riders too, so special kudos to them!
